This vibrant Pakistani wedding will undoubtedly warm you up on this chilly morning! In less than six weeks, Maheen and Ateed planned their wedding! They chose a bohemian, rustic, and stylish style, which is unusual for a South East Asian wedding. We adore the warm autumnal tones that complement their brilliantly coloured blooms. Traditional elements of their wedding included Shoe Hiding, Milk Drinking, and a Nikkah ritual.
Maheen and Ateed chose a more bohemian chic aesthetic, which is unusual for a South East Asian wedding! They did, however, add customs into their day, such as the Shoe Hiding, in which the bride’s sisters, cousins, and other female relatives are the perpetrators – they are required to conceal the shoes after taking them. They intend to collect money from the groom before releasing his shoes because he will require them to depart the site. After all of the excitement, they went outside for some great smoke bomb portraits!
